This recipe was passed on to me by an old classmate. This was her recipe for the dimsum style rice topping served in Cebu.
3/4 cup cooking oil
10g salt 10g msg
1/4cup whitehorse brand soy sauce
1tbsp sesame oil
1kg.Rice Frozen peas
Fresh chopped shrimp
First fry old rice and add soy sauce then set aside-then Saute chopped onions and garlic, then add cube pork then diced shrimp and last the peas. Season with salt pepper. When pork is cooked add water and cornstarch, when sauce is thick add the sugar and soy sauce to taste, then lastly the sesame oil. Then pour on top of rice: optional - add chopped shitake mushrooms while frying onions and garlic.
